Artistic Exhibitions and Performances

The hostel’s Alter space is always looking for talented artists who can embellish its walls and intrigue clients. If you’re good at painting, drawing, making sculptures, new media, in-situ installation or use any other medium to create original artwork, contact us and you could show your work to travelers from around the world! Let your talent shine on stage!

As part of our monthly Alternative Performances series, many emerging artists have come to entertain our clientele with their talent. Singers, musicians, poets and slammers, dancers, magicians, illusionists, comedians and humorists are among those who are invited to take stage in our common room. We put our modest sound equipment for at their disposal. We also offer 2 microphones, a microphone holder and 2 sound systems. Although we can not pay artists as we would like it, we invite the audience to offer a voluntary contribution during intermission and at the end of the performance.
